The synopsis goes something like this ...
Nicholson's ageing publisher Will Randall is out for revenge when he discovers his wife, Charlotte (Kate Nelligan), is having an affair with the same little schmuck who has just taken his job, Stewart (Spader). His thirst for vengeance is aided by the fact he has started to 'change' after being bitten by a wolf near his home in Vermont. Will suddenly finds himself energized, possessing unbelievably heightened senses - and increased sideburns. Wearing an amulet to stop him turning completely into a werewolf, Will gets his life back on track. Things get even more hairy though when Will bites his younger adversary during an altercation between the two, turning Stewart into a 'wolf' too.
