The synopsis goes something like this ...
A kind of Romeo and Juliet with fangs, Beckinsale's sexy Selene is a 'Death Dealer', a vampire assigned to hunt down and eradicate Lycans, during what has become a centuries-long war between the two groups of fanged-creeps. The vampires are portrayed as a secretive clan of modern, aristocratic sophisticates, while the Lycans are a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city's underbelly. Problems of course arise when Selene and newly-made Lycan, Michael (Speedman), cross paths and 'get it on'.
