A British film based on the novel The Werewolf of Paris written by Guy Endore, but set in Spain. The book was published in 1933 with a character called Bertrand Caillet as the werewolf lead. A second screen adaptation, Legend of the Werewolf, was released in 1975. The Curse of the Werewolf was the only movie Hammer Studios, renowned for its gothic flicks, particularly those about Dracula, made about a werewolf.
