The synopsis goes something like this ...
Duke's Derek Cowley makes the mistake of taking his college classmates to his stepfather's isolated cabin in the woods to party one weekend. There, they come face to face with a sadistic blood-thirsty beast that hunts and kills each of his friends. Back home, Derek begins to suspect his abusive stepfather, Tyson's Mitch Toblat, is the werewolf, and goes digging for proof.

Something to sink your teeth into ...
The film has several references to The Wolfman (1941). Tyson's character's name is Toblat, an anagram of Talbot, the name of Lon Chaney Jr.'s main character. The genetics lab that Uncle Charlie (Christopher Shyer) sends Toblat's DNA sample to is called Namflow Laboratories. Namflow spelt backwards is wolfman. Clint Howard's character is Fulton Chaney, in honour of Lon Chaney Jr.
